Makanan Baba Nyonya | Melaka Nyonya Village | Rugi rasanya bila berkunjung disesuatu tempat kita tidak mencuba keistimewaan yang ada ditempat tersebut terutamanya makanan. Tempoh hari abam kaw dan rakan blogger telah berpeluang untuk merasai percutian di Negeri Melaka dan akhirnya sempat merasai makanan baba nyonya di sini.

Apa yang menarik di Melaka Nyonya Village ini adalah terletak kepada budaya warisan yang diterapkan didalam restoran ini dari segi makanan dan juga tarian. Abam kaw sendiri sangat teruja dengan apa yang abam sendiri lihat. Kebiasanya abam hanya melihat didalam TV tentang budaya baba nyonya dan ini pertama kalinya dengan mata sendiri.

Untuk pengetahuan semua, Melaka Nyonya Village adalah satu-satunya restoran yang memperkenalkan keunikkan lengkap baba nyonya didalamnya. Bermula dengan dekorasi restoran, pemakaian pelayan tetamu dan yang yang paling unik adalah tarian baba nyonya yang akan dipertontonkan kepada tetamu dan menjadi satu-satu restoran di Negeri Melaka yang mempersembahkan tarian baba nyonya semasa tatmu makan.

Bila sebut makana baba nyonya ni, abam tak dapat bayangkan apa keunikan dalam masakan mereka. Jadi ini adalah peluang abam kaw untuk merasai masakan mereka.

Sebagai permulaan, kami dihidangkan dengan kuih muih masyarakat baba nyinya dan juga keropok dhal yang dicicah dengan sambal belacan. Memang agak berlainan kuih muih mereka berbanding kita masyarakat melayu dan ditambal dengan keunikan makan keropok bersama sambal belacan. 

Selesai dengan makana pembukaan tadi, kami dihidangkan dengan menu-menu yang menyelerakan berkonsepkan makana asli baba nyonya.

Sekali tengok seperti ayam masak kicap. Tetapi inilah dia menua yang dipanggil AYAM PONGTEH. Menu tradisi masyarakat baba nyonya yang wajib ada didalam senarai makanan mereka. Ayam yang dimasak cara mereka dan ditambah dengan kentang empuk dan juga cendawan menjadikan makanan ini adalah yang terbaik bagi abam.

SAYUR CAMPUR BERSAMA FUCUK TAUHU ini juga adalah menu yang agak berlainan dengan menu kita masyarakat melayu. Biasanya bagi abam kaw, masyarakat melayu akan memasukkan segala jenis sayuran dan akhirnya menjadi sayur campur, tatapi mereka memasukkan elemen fucuk tauhu yang bagi abam sendiri amat jarang menjamahnya.

BENDI CELUR BERSAMBAL ini menjadi pilihan abam kaw. Dengan rasa empuk bendi yang dicelur (rasanya dia celur) dan disimbahi dengan sambal pedas-pedas sedap menjadikan masakan ini sesuatu yang lain. Makan lauk sahaja pun dan kenyang.

Wowwww SAMBAL IKAN BILIS PETAI ini adalah yang terbaik dengan kerangupan ikan bilis dan juga sambal petai yang disira memang sedap. Tak tahu abam nak cakap bagaimana. Korang kena cuba rasai sendiri.

OTAK-OTAK KUKUS yang lembut ini agak unik kerana diatasnya diletakkan dengan sedikit sambal belacan (rasanya sambal belacan). Manis pedas rasanya bila masuk kedalam mulut. Ini juga sedap !!

IKAN GORENG KERUTUK ini juga sedap. Dengan kerangupan dan keunikkannya kerana dicicah dengan sambal yang lebih kurang serupa dengan sambal belacan. 

Secara keseluruhannya apa yang abam boleh simpulkan, mereka gemar menggunakan sambal belacan didalam makanan mereka.
