Saya mahu sambung sedikit lagi catatan perjalanan JJCM di Johor Bahru dari entri di SINI. Semasa dalam perjalanan balik dari JB kami singgah rumah, boss JPM Dato Hassan di Vista Kirana. Saya mengajak hubby singgah di kedai makan mencari lauk asam pedas kegemaran yang memang wajib di cari setiap kali ke Melaka tapi hubby berjanji akan singgah selepas balik dari rumah Dato Hassan. Walau bagaimanapun, Dato menjemput kami makan tengahari di Tiara Melaka Golf and Country Club, jadi plan asal untuk ke kedai makan tak menjadi kenyataan. Oleh kerana jam dah lebih dari pukul 3, restoran di club telah ditutup dan akan dibuka semula pada pukul 5 petang manakala makanan di cafe pula telah banyak yang habis dan yang ada hanyalah makanan panas ala carte. Dengan nada separuh kecewa dek kempunan nak makan asam pedas, saya redha untuk makan hidangan ala carte. 

Makanan yang dipesan Dato Hassan semua nya best belaka walaupun nampak seperti simple. Tapi semua masakannya "berasa" atau secukup rasa. Antara yang dipesan ialah Nasi goreng kampung, kue teow goreng daging, sizzling Tauhu Jepun dan Ayam Goreng Bawang Putih. Hajat hati hanya nak makan 4 sudu nasi sahaja tapi dah menambah nambah. Nasi nya memang nasi goreng kegemaran saya yang dimasukkan ikan bilis dan kacang panjang. Ayam goreng pula digoreng bersama bawang putih bersekali dengan kulit yang menjadi sangat rangup dan sedap dikunyah. Haaa berbaloi baloi kerana Allah memberikan rezeki yang lebih baik.



Pendek kata semua makanan yang dihidangkan sangat sedap sehingga saya masih teringat ingat sehingga ke saat ini. Oleh kerana Asam Pedas di cafe telah habis, Dato telah memesan asam pedas ikan kembung dan daging tetel dari luar untuk dibungkus buat kami bawa balik. Kata Dato, dia tak mahu nanti saya kempunan pulak tak dapat makan asam pedas. Ini yang membuatkan saya rasa sangat terharu kerana merata rata juga Dato meminta staf dia untuk mencarikan asam pedas buat saya. Terima kasih berbanyak Dato dan Datin, dah lah makan sedap dapat pula membawa balik asam pedas yang memang sedap. Alhamdulillah atas rezeki yang dikurniakan....

Semalam telah diadakan satu program iaitu karnival Road to MAHA yang berlangsung di MITC Melaka bermula semalam hingga ke hari ini.

Beratus buah gerai disediakan di sekitar tapak program yang mengadakan pelbagai jualan produk atau hasil pertanian dari seluruh negeri Melaka.



Program ini berjaya mencuri tumpuan apabila ianya turut dihadiri oleh YAB Perdana Menteri yang dalam rangka lawatan kerja ke Melaka dan beliau sempat menjamah makanan yang disediakan di tapak karnival.

Karnival yang dirasmikan oleh YAB Ketua Menteri Melaka, Datuk Seri Ir Idris Harun dilihat amat berjaya apabila ribuan orang dari sekitar negeri Melaka turut hadir sama dan YB Menteri Pertanian dan Industri Asas Tani juga turut hadir dalam program tersebut.



Paluan kompang serta pertunjukan tarian tradisional mengiringi majlis peradmian yang dilakukan oleh Ketua Menteri Melaka.


Dalam ucapan YB Menteri Pertanian dan Industri Asas Tani, YB Dato Sri Ismail Sabri di majlis perasmian tersebut, beliauada menyatakan beberapa perkara yang seharusnya disambut baik oleh para petani, penternak dan nelayan di seluruh negara antaranya ialah, karnival MAHA kebangsaan kali ini mensasarkan jualan sebanyak RM 20 juta, barangan pertanian akan dieksport ke China melalui Xie An, pembukaan agro bazar di Singapura dan beberapa perkara lagi yang dilihatamat menguntungkan para petani, penternak dan nelayan di Malaysia.

Dalam ucapan perasmian Ketua Menteri Melaka pula beliau mengingatkan kepada para petani agar tidak lupa supaya sentoasa bersyukut kepada Tuhan serta menyentuh bahawa kemiskinan selalu dikaitkan dengan para petani, penternak dan nelayan sedangkan di luar negara, para petani, penternak dan nelayan ini merupakan salah satu sektor yang membuatkan seseorang itu mempunyai kekayaan yang luar biasa, jadi persepsi yang mengatakan bahawa para petani, penternak dan nelayan adalah satu kerja yang tidak menguntungkan haruslah dibuang dari pemikiran kita semua.

KUALA LUMPUR, (Bernama) -- Kekangan masa ada kalanya menyebabkan sesetengah wanita berkerjaya cenderung memilih jalan mudah dengan membeli makanan siap sebagai juadah berbuka puasa, walaupun kadang kala terkilan kerana makanan itu tidak menepati cita rasa mereka.

Lebih mengecewakan lagi apabila melihat raut muka suami yang masam kerana lebih gemar menikmati 'masakan rumah' yang disediakan pihak isteri.

Ini menyebabkan kaum wanita bekerjaya segera menyinsing lengan baju sebaik pulang dari pejabat untuk bergegas menyediakan juadah dalam masa terhad.

Cef selebriti Datuk Ismail Ahmad atau popular sebagai Cef Ismail berkata wanita berkerjaya perlu bijak merancang bukan sahaja daripada sudut masa, tetapi meliputi juga jenis masakan yang hendak disediakan bagi tempoh seminggu supaya dapat melancarkan kerja dapur.

"Perancangan masa penting, tambahan pula untuk mereka yang bekerja di bandar kerana kesesakan jalan raya ada kalanya mengambil masa berjam-jam apabila semua mahu tiba di rumah sebelum waktu berbuka," katanya kepada BERNAMA menjelang sehari sebelum umat Islam di Malaysia memulakan ibadat dan menyambut Ramadan.

Sehubungan itu, Cef Ismail menasihatkan golongan wanita supaya melakukan prapenyediaan dalam tugasan memasak supaya hidangan lengkap dapat disediakan dalam masa singkat tanpa menjejaskan rasa dan kualiti masakan.

Antara persiapan yang perlu dibuat ialah membersihkan ikan, ayam, daging, undang atau sotong sebelum dimasukkan ke dalam bekas bersih dalam kuantiti 'sekali makan' dan disimpan dalam peti sejuk beku supaya proses cair beku mudah dilakukan apabila perlu.

"Masa cuti hujung minggu pula dimanfaatkan dengan mengupas siap bawang merah, bawang putih, halia dan mengisar cili kering. Memasak ini mudah cuma penyediaan bahan sahaja yang boleh jadi remeh dan memakan masa.

"Jika rajin, boleh sediakan sediakan pes masakan seperti rendang, kari, asam pedas atau pes makanan bergoreng seperti mee goreng untuk disimpan di peti sejuk dan apabila perlu, senduk dalam kuantiti kecil," katanya.

Chef Ismail berkata bagi menu sayuran pula, mereka digalakkan memilih sayuran bukan berdaun seperti labu, kekacang, bunga kobis, brokoli, terung dan lobak merah yang lebih tahan lama supaya tidak perlu kerap singgah ke kedai untuk membeli selain bahan-bahan itu siap dipotong sebelum disimpan.

"Mungkin ada wanita yang penat di dapur kerana mahu mengejar waktu berbuka, namun memberi makan kepada anggota keluarga yang berpuasa amat besar ganjarannya apatah lagi 'air tangan' isteri dianggap sebagai pengikat keluarga," katanya.

Sementara itu, pengusaha katering Siti Rahimah Diaudin, 34, memberitahu beberapa kuih-muih juga boleh disediakan lebih awal khususnya kuih jenis bergoreng seperti karipap, popiah, samosa dan kuih keria.

"Kuih jenis talam yang tidak bersantan seperti kaswi dan sagu boleh disediakan lebih awal dan disimpan dalam peti sejuk. Begitu juga kuih sagu gula melaka dan apabila perlu, hanya masak santan dan air gula melaka untuk dicurahkan ke atas kuih," katanya.

Siti Rahimah, bekas pengajar jurusan kulinari kolej swasta, berkata wanita bekerja boleh menyediakan juadah bersantan seperti kari atau rendang dalam kuantiti banyak semasa hari cuti sebelum dimasukkan ke beberapa bekas kecil sebagai 'bekalan' masa mendatang.

"Hanya pastikan masakan telah sejuk sebelum dimasukkan dalam peti sejuk beku, dan tuliskan tarikh makanan dibuat. Semua ini memudahkan tugas pada hari bekerja. Masakan seperti kari juga lebih sedap apabila disimpan lama kerana rasanya lebih sebati," katanya. Menurutnya, walaupun terdapat banyak produk makanan sejuk beku di pasaran, juadah yang dimasak sendiri pasti dinanti-nantikan kerana rasanya menepati selera dan bahan-bahan yang digunakan terjamin daripada segi kualiti.
